Running
Road ID
If you’re a runner, walker, cyclist, triathlete or just an active person, Road ID is a must. In the event of an accident, if you can’t speak for yourself, your Road ID will. You can get a cute, colorful Road ID wristband or a simple ID to attach to your shoe. Lots of options to choose from. It’s not just a piece of gear - it’s peace of mind.
PiYo
PiYo should probably go in the “Get Fit” category below, but I believe PiYo is perfect cross-training for running. I am convinced PiYo is what has helped me get my running legs back after knee surgery. PiYo is a dynamic, athletic workout blending yoga and Pilates with fun music. You’ll increase flexibility, gain strength and burn calories - all in one.

Get Fit
TurboFire
TurboFire was the first Beachbody program I ever did and I FELL IN LOVE! TurboFire is fast-paced kickboxing with an attitude, done to funky awesome music. And this was my first introduction to Chalene Johnson who is my favorite exercise instructor of all time. I credit TurboFire with keeping me in half marathon shape when I was only able to run two days a week due to knee issues. This is my favorite program of all time:)
21 Day Fix
I was actually a little surprised to find how much I love this program. The 21 Day Fix is a three week program with short but intense 30 minute workouts. It has a great clean-eating plan and teaches you portion control and meal planning. The gimmick is the color-coded containers to make sure you are eating the correct amounts and getting ALL the nutrients your body needs. No skimping on fruits and veggies here! I especially love the Upper Body Fix and Lower Body Fix workouts and hit those about once a week. This is a great way to ease yourself into fitness or ease yourself into your skinny jeans QUICK!
Hip Hop Abs
When I need to work it out AND need a smile on my face, I pull out Hip Hop Abs. This is seriously the most FUN workout ever. Shaun T (whom you may know in a more serious way from his Insanity or T25 workouts) is just a hoot. Trust me, I don’t use the word “hoot” lightly, lol. This is super low impact, great hip hop music, a fun cast and you’ll totally dance away the pounds. A Hip Hop Abs workout is always a treat!

Nourish Your Body
Quest Protein Bars
I eat a Quest Protein Bar for breakfast almost every single day and often have another after my workout at night. They are simply the best tasting protein bar I have ever found. Each delicious flavor has 200 calories or less, 20 grams of protein and around 15 grams of fiber. Pop a bar in the microwave for about 25 seconds and you’ll have a warm, gooey treat - and it’s totally healthy. Quest Bars satisfy my sweet tooth, without filling my body with junk. I suppose I could live without them, but I wouldn’t want to! I highly recommend the White Chocolate Raspberry and Double Chocolate Chunk flavors - to die for!

I wrote an in-depth article on simple meal planning, but some people prefer to reap the rewards of being incredibly organized, with detailed shopping lists and menus, without doing all the work. #1 Rule of Exercising - Look Cute and Feel Great!
First of all, your workout clothing should be FUNCTIONAL! The fit must be fantastic, no itchy seams, no ride-up (ugh), no heavy, icky fabrics. All your exercise gear should be wicking and breathable. That said, it’s important to look stylish too! Wearing fashionable workout clothes will give you confidence, improve your mood and help you totally rock your workout.
Zumba
You don’t have do Zumba workouts to have great looking pants, capris and tanks that are perfect for your dance workouts or just for daily wear. Love the Oh-So-Soft Stretch Cargo Capris and any of the brightly colored tanks with inspirational sayings.
Athleta
I have been a huge fan of Athleta since I discovered them about five years ago. I’m not gonna lie, their clothing is higher-end and definitely a bigger investment than the tanks and leggings you’ll find at Target. However, the quality is amazing. They have yoga pants to make your butt look fantastic! The pieces last forever - I have tanks and capris from Athleta that are several years old and they look just like new. Make sure to check out their end-of-season sales for fantastic deals!
Fabletics
I am a new convert to Fabletics. This is a fitness line designed by Kate Hudson and they offer a complete first workout outfit for only $25. Be careful - you may be hooked on cute new fitness apparel too!
