Quest Protein Chips are a new kind of chip.
With only 5g of carbs and a whopping 21g of protein per bag, now you can eat chips every day! No soy, no gluten, no junk.
What’s better than eating the new Quest Protein Chips right out of the bag?
Using them in creative, unique and DELICIOUS ways, of course!
Here are 14 ways to pump up your protein and get your crunch on with Quest Chips recipes.
1. Crunchy Chicken Fingers
Dip chicken tenders in an egg/milk mixture, then roll in crushed Quest Chips. Bake at 400 degrees for about 20 minutes until cooked through and crispy.
2. Quest Chips “Frito Pie”
Add warm chili, cheese, chopped tomato and green onion directly to your bag of Quest chips. Eat with a plastic fork for authenticity.
3. Sandwich With Pizzazz
Add whole Quest Chips to a sandwich for extra crunch. My fave is rare roast beef, horseradish cheese, sliced red onion, tomato, lettuce and Quest chips!
4. Quest Jam Fingerprint Cookies
Cut your favorite flavor Quest bar into 6 pieces and soften in microwave. Roll pieces in Quest chip crumbs and bake at 350 for about 5 minutes. Remove from oven, use a round ½ teaspoon to make an indentation in the cookie, fill with jam, and continue baking for 2 more minutes.
5. Low Carb Crispy Fish Sticks
Coat your favorite fish with mayo and top with Quest chip crumbs. Bake for a crispy coating.
6. Best Ever BBQ Meatloaf
Use crushed BBQ flavor crumbs instead of breadcrumbs in your favorite meatloaf recipe. Shhhh, it might be better than mom’s!
7. #CheatClean Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup Potato Chip Protein Ice Cream Sundae
Sounds like a mouthful but worth the teensy bit of effort. Just whip up your favorite protein ice cream (I use a scoop of chocolate protein powder combined with about 1/2 cup of water or milk and freeze until firm.) Top with a chopped Quest Peanut Butter Cup and Quest Sea Salt Chips. Sweet, salty, peanut-buttery deliciousness!
8. Mmmmmm Meatballs
Make meatballs using 1 pound ground beef, 1 cup Quest crumbs, 1 egg and ¼ cup chopped onion. Mix together ½ cup apricot preserves and ¼ BBQ sauce and pour over meatballs. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes until meatballs are hot and cooked through. Great for gluten-free tailgating!
9. Not Your Average Crouton
Wake up your boring salad, and use Quest chips instead of croutons.
10. Healthier Home Fries
Coat sliced potato wedges in a tiny bit of olive oil, roll in crumbs, and bake at 450 degrees about 40 minutes or until crisp.
11. Buffalo Protein Chip “Nachos”
Place chips in a small oven safe container. Sprinkle with chopped cooked chicken, sliced green onions and a bit of bleu cheese. Bake until hot and bubbly. Serve with hot sauce if you can handle it. Eat with a fork if necessary!
12. Better Mac & Cheese
Top homemade mac & cheese (or store bought if necessary!) with Quest Chip crumbs before baking.
13. Roasted Parmesan Zucchini Slices
Coat thickly-sliced zucchini with a tiny bit of olive oil. Combine chip crumbs with an equal amount of Parmesan cheese. Cover zucchini with crumb/cheese mixture and bake at 350 degrees for approximately 20 minutes until crispy, turning once.
14. Cheat Day Chocolate-Covered Protein Chips.
Dip whole chips in melted dark chocolate, sprinkle with a teensy bit of cayenne. Dip ‘em if you dare!
