I love Cize, Shaun T’s new dance workout program by Beachbody, but it’s pure cardio. I’m a person who really has trouble building and maintaining muscle so I don’t want to go four to six weeks without strength training. Therefore, I created this Cize and 21 Day Fix Hybrid Calendar to get the best of both worlds.
The concept is simple. I just added the three strength workouts from the 21 Day Fix – Upper Fix, Lower Fix and Dirty 30 – to the Cize beginner calendar. This equals a six week program full of fun dance cardio, AND weight training for those of us who want and/or need it.
Are there other ways to add strength to Cize? Yes, but these are two of my favorite programs, the Fix workouts are only 30 minutes and they just pair well together — kinda like chocolate and peanut butter! (Or make that carrots and hummus for those of us who are health conscious.)
