A Little Bit of History
Weigh to Maintain is a continuation of a blog I began in 2011 when I was doing long distance running and wanted to share race reports and running news. Unfortunately, my knees decided to give out and so I took a two year blog hiatus while I tried to heal and cope with the news that I had to give up running.
I resurrected that blog, I Will Run For Chocolate, in 2013 to chat about other aspects of fitness, healthy eating and weight loss. I soon realized that I Will Run For Chocolate no longer described ME. I wasn’t running and my perspective was that of a maintainer – my thoughts, ideas and struggles wouldn’t necessarily be those of a person in the process of losing weight.
Weigh to Maintain is the logical progress and next step for me. I hope you will visit often!
